The Mortella gardens

The love, the determination of Lady Walton and the help of one of the greatest landscape architect of the last century Russell Page created this piece of paradise. The mortella gardens was also nominated "the most beautiful garden in Italy" in 2004. It is divided in 2 parts:"the valley" which was designed by Russell page who decided to use different type of plants from all over the world to create the atmosphere of a rain forest and "the hill" which was designed and made by Lady Walton. The garden, with its fountains, artificial streams, rare plants, exotic trees and wonderful panorama leave the visitors completely breathless for the beauty of the place.

The duration of the tour is 2 hours and the price of the tickets is 12,00€.

The gardens are opened to the public on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
